Oxfordian Life
First Place for Food Collection
The Banco de Alimentos de Reynosa A. C. recognised The Oxfordian School with first place for food collection in the Hambretón campaign, in which our community brought in 7,667.084 kilograms.
The recognition was handed over on 16 October, in front of representatives of organisations from across the city, to Ms. Salas, coordinator of the Love Foundation. It was presented by Ing. Elda Alicia Castillo Treviño and Lic. Carlos Humberto Gámez Cantú, president and secretary respectively of the Banco de Alimentos de Reynosa.
The figure belongs to the families who filled the collection points, tin by tin. We have always been proud of how readily Oxfordian families turn up for a cause, and this is the clearest measure of it we have been given.
Our thanks to the Banco de Alimentos de Reynosa A. C., and to everyone who carried something in.
