Student Services
After School Care
Extended hours with a planned programme — not just supervision. Nursery through Secundaria, on every campus.
Care After the Final Bell
Estancia gives families extended hours at the end of the school day, with a planned activity programme rather than open supervision. It runs on every campus from Nursery through Secundaria. Preparatoria students are not offered Estancia.
When you enrol, you tell us which service your child needs — Estancia only, Estancia with a snack, or Estancia with a meal — and we group children by age. Cafeteria service is available during Estancia at an additional cost.
A Planned Week, by Age Group
Children are grouped by age, and each group follows its own weekly plan. Every session opens with a group meeting — a greeting, the question of the day, and the agenda — before the day’s focus.
Every group works on personal and social development and artistic expression. What changes with age is the rest.

After a student’s official finishing time there is a 15 minute grace period. Beyond that the student passes into Estancia and the day is charged at the hourly rate below. Collection after the closing time above is charged at $600 per hour or part of an hour, and after three late collections the service is suspended for the rest of the school year.
Rates vary a little by campus; the figures above are the 2026–2027 sheets for Las Quintas, Petrolera and Las Fuentes, with Vista Hermosa noted where it differs. Your campus coordinator confirms the rate when you request the service. The combined Estancia and extracurricular rate does not apply to Music, Robotics or Nivelaciones. Meals and snacks are charged separately from Estancia; you can buy them from the cafeteria or send them from home. Prices are subject to change without notice.
How to Request Estancia
You can start or stop the service at any point in the year. There is no separate enrolment window.
- Send the request to your campus Estancia coordinator with your child’s name and grade, and whether you need the service daily, weekly or monthly.
- Arrange meals and snacks separately and in advance at Caja, monthly, weekly or daily. If your child has a food allergy or follows a special diet, tell the Nursing Department so it is reflected in the menu.
- Sign the Carta Compromiso, which sets out the agreements below. The coordinator sends it with your confirmation.
A student with an older sibling may wait in Estancia at no cost for up to 30 minutes, when the older sibling’s finishing time falls within that window. This has to be requested from the coordinator in the same way; beyond 30 minutes the time is reported and charged by the hour or part of an hour.
What to Send, and What We Agree
Two short lists: what comes in the backpack, and what we ask of families. Open either one to read it in full.
What to send with your child
- Nursery: two changes of clothes, four nappies and a packet of wet wipes, every day.
- Kínder 3, 4 and 5: one change of clothes daily, footwear included, kept in the backpack for when it is needed.
- A blanket, labelled with the full name, grade and group. It goes home every Friday to be washed and comes back on Monday.
- Kínder, optional: a hairbrush and hair ties in a labelled ziplock bag, so children can be tidied at the end of the day.
- Everything — clothing, accessories, meals and snacks — labelled with the full name, grade and group. Please mark meals and snacks with when they are meant to be eaten.
The agreements
- Children arrive having had breakfast, so that morning Estancia can start the routine straight away.
- Phones, tablets and other electronic devices are not used during Estancia.
- The school’s conduct policy applies in Estancia exactly as it does in the school day. After three major reports the service is suspended for the rest of the year.
- For Nursery to 2nd grade, staff report on settling in, meals and the afternoon’s activities each day, in person at collection or through the agenda.
