International Read Aloud Day

Unlocking New Worlds Together: Read Aloud Day at The Oxfordian School! 📚✨
There is nothing quite like the magic of a great story, except sharing it with friends!
Our campus was buzzing with energy as students from every single grade level gathered in the sunshine for our annual Read Aloud Day. The school courtyard transformed into a vibrant open air library, filled with cozy reading circles, animated storytelling, and big smiles.
At The Oxfordian School, reading isn’t just a skill, it is the foundation of who we are. Gathering together across grade levels reminded us how powerful books are at bringing our community together, sparking curiosity, and turning ordinary pages into extraordinary adventures.
Highlights from the Day:
- Cross Grade Connections: Students of all ages teamed up in reading groups to share their favorite books and discover new tales.
- Courtyard Magic: Taking our books outdoors made every chapter feel like a celebration under the open sky.
- Living Our Values: Reaffirming that a shared love for reading is at the core of our school culture.
A huge thank you to all our amazing students and teachers for bringing so much energy to the page. Keep turning those pages!
