+ Conversation Groups

6 Levels + Conversation Groups  ·  4 Month Course Duration

1

Start at the right level

We identify the starting point that matches what you already know.

2

A communicative approach

Take part, listen and practise the language in situations with a purpose.

3

Progress with support

Move forward along a structured route, one level at a time.

Other Courses

Other English Courses

Alongside the numbered route, OLS runs specialised courses for younger children and for certification preparation. Ask your campus which are running this intake.

OLS Kids

  • A specialised English course for preschool-age children
  • Taught in its own group, at its own pace
  • Monthly enrollment rather than by level

Certification Preparation

  • Prepares students for an internationally recognised English certification
  • For students who need a certified score for university admission or for work
  • Runs as its own course, outside the six-level route

See intakes, fees and how to enroll

Conversation Groups

Conversation Groups

Flexible speaking practice for students who already read and write English and want to speak it with confidence. It is not a numbered level, so it runs alongside the six-level route.

In the Classroom

Every topic follows the same route.

  • Read: An article on a current issue opens each topic.
  • Write: Each student writes an opinion essay on it.
  • Present: Students present their view to the group.
  • Debate: The group debates the topic together.
  • Feedback: Detailed notes on writing, presentation, pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.

Culture

  • American and Tex-Mex celebrations through the year: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Labor Day, the Fourth of July and Cinco de Mayo
  • Parents are welcome to take part

Joining

  • For students who already read and write English
  • Meets once a week
  • Around 15 to 16 students per group
  • Runs alongside the six numbered levels, not as a level of its own

Fees

What It Costs and How It Is Paid

The course fee covers tuition. Books and materials are bought separately and follow the student through each level.

No Enrolment Fee

You pay for the course itself. There is no separate registration charge to join Oxfordian Language School.

Discounts

40% for Oxfordian students and for the children of Oxfordian collaborators. 20% for Oxfordian parents, and for employees of companies holding a convenio with the school.

Paying in instalments. The course can be paid in full, or spread across four monthly payments. If you spread the payments, each one is due before the 10th of the month so the student can carry on attending.

Where to pay. Payments are made at Caja, or by transfer or deposit to the school’s official accounts. If you pay by transfer, send the receipt to Caja with the student’s name and level so it can be matched to the right account.

Course fees. Ask your campus for the current fee for the level you are joining.

Other courses. OLS Kids and Certification Preparation run alongside the numbered levels (see Other English Courses), and Conversation Groups offer flexible speaking practice.

Scholarships

Support for Students and Companies

OLS offers scholarships to individuals, and to companies holding an agreement with The Oxfordian School, so that more of the community can reach a working command of English.

A scholarship is held rather than granted once. To keep one, a student agrees to:

  • Follow the Oxfordian student profile.
  • Keep an academic average of 80%.
  • Maintain good conduct.
  • Follow the OLS policies and acuerdos de convivencia.
  • Attend at least 85% of classes, and arrive on time.
  • Stay up to date with payments, with no outstanding balance.
  • Take the OLS levels continuously — interrupting the sequence ends the scholarship.

OLS may reduce or withdraw a scholarship at any time if these commitments are not met. To ask about a scholarship, or about an agreement for your company, speak to Coordinación OLS.

Enrollment

Complete the form below and the Language School team at your campus will be in touch to arrange your free placement assessment, tell you which groups are running, and confirm the fee. Accepting the Carta de Compromiso is part of enrolling, so please read it carefully before you submit.

The person taking the course, whether that is you or your child.

Only if the student is under 18. Adults enrolling themselves can leave this blank.

The free placement assessment confirms this, so an estimate is fine.

The groups running vary by campus and intake; we will confirm what is open.

Before enrolling, please read the Carta de Compromiso for Oxfordian Language School.

Commitment Letter for Enrolment at Oxfordian Language School — 2026-2027

As the student named in this form, or as the parent or guardian of that student, I undertake to observe the following terms for enrolment at Oxfordian Language School:

  1. I undertake to settle the course fee, or each monthly instalment, before the 10th of the month. Otherwise the student cannot be admitted to class and will wait in Reception; I will be notified by telephone to make the payment or to collect the student.
  2. I understand that a course may be paid in full or spread across four monthly payments, and that in either case the course must be paid in full before it finishes.
  3. I accept that all payments must be made directly at the Cashier or by transfer or deposit to the school's official accounts. If paying by transfer, I undertake to send the receipt to the cashier's email with the student's name and the level enrolled in.
  4. I understand that there is no enrolment fee, that a 20% discount applies where my employer holds a convenio with the school, and that books and materials are bought separately and follow the student through each level.
  5. I understand that the level I am placed in is determined by the free placement assessment, and that any change of level is agreed with the teacher and the Language School coordination.
  6. I am aware that each course lasts four months and runs to the published intake calendar, on either the weekday or the Saturday timetable, and I undertake to attend punctually.
  7. Should the student be unable to continue attending, I undertake to give formal notice of withdrawal in writing or by email before the new month begins, and to complete the satisfaction survey.
  8. I understand that a student who stops attending without having requested withdrawal is still considered enrolled, and that the charge continues to be raised as a balance on the account even if they do not attend.
  9. I acknowledge that it is the student's responsibility to keep their workspace clean, look after their materials and return them to their proper place, and that the school's facilities, resources and materials may only be used during the class's scheduled hours. The school is not liable for damage to or loss of personal belongings.
  10. I am aware that eating during class is not permitted, and I undertake that the student will behave respectfully towards classmates and teachers; failure to observe these rules may lead to permanent withdrawal from the programme.
  11. I understand that the school may exercise its right of admission where there is an outstanding balance, or where a student breaches the rules of conduct on more than three occasions, each of which will be notified to the email address provided. I undertake to keep that email address and my telephone number up to date.

I declare that I have read and understood the terms of this commitment letter and accept each of the points set out in it.

The Spanish text is the school's own wording and is the version that governs. You will sign the printed letter at your campus when you complete enrolment.

Enrolment is completed at your campus, where you sign the printed Carta de Compromiso and settle the first payment. Bring the student’s details and a telephone number we can reach you on.
