TEDx at The Oxfordian School
TEDx The Oxfordian School
What is TEDx?
TEDx The Oxfordian School is an independently organized event with our students at the very center of it. Our speakers prepare for months—rehearsing daily, collaborating with faculty mentors on structure and evidence, and receiving invaluable feedback from their families and teachers.
Our TEDx Story
In 2025, The Oxfordian School hosted its first independent TEDx event right here in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. By 2026, we returned to an even bigger stage. We look forward to the brilliant conversations and ideas our students bring to this platform every year
Our journey began in 2022, inspired by the community-driven TEDx McAllen Youth event. In 2023, a group of Oxfordian students took the stage at the Cooper Center for Performing Arts, sharing the spotlight with pupils from IDEA Public Schools, McAllen ISD, and Edinburg CISD. What started as a simple invitation quickly grew into a tradition of our own.
