Oxfordian Campuses

Welcome to Vista Hermosa Campus

A warm, locally connected community where innovative, open-minded thinkers grow and a lifelong love for learning begins.

A message from our director

A Word from Ms Arellano

A lifelong love for learning begins with a stable, supportive environment. At Vista Hermosa, a clear vision for every child sits alongside a warm, locally connected community.

“Where educational pedagogies are founded upon creating new paradigms. Vista Hermosa excites, ignites, and cultivates innovative and open-minded thinkers.”

How We Teach

The Vista Hermosa Difference

Three ideas shape every classroom here, from Nursery to Middle School, and one thing sets us apart.

What sets us apart

English Immersion, All Day, Every Day

English isn’t a subject here. It’s second nature. In the classrooms, the hallways, the cafeteria and every shared space, our English teachers make it part of daily life, so children use it naturally from their very first years.

Growth Mindset

Every Mistake Is a Step Forward

Children learn that ability grows with effort, good strategies and perseverance. Positive discipline and self-regulation help them bounce back and keep trying.

Learning That Fits

A Supportive Place for Every Learner

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all education. Flexible teaching and positive classroom management let us adapt to how your child learns best, and teachers check progress as they go.

Learning by Doing

Knowledge Put to Work

Through projects, games and hands-on resources, students don’t just memorise. They apply what they learn to real situations, in class and in their community.

Nursery & Kínder

Learning Through Play, in Two Languages

Nursery, K3, K4 and K5 balance early childhood development with the first bilingual academics, building the cognitive, motor and socioemotional skills your child will carry into Primaria.

The Early Curriculum

Core Academic and Language Structure

English and Spanish run side by side all day, so language is the environment your child learns in rather than a subject on the timetable.

See what your child learns
  • Literacy and phonics: from recognising letters and building vocabulary to phonics comprehension, writing their own first name, dictation, reading short sentences and making up short stories.
  • Mathematical thinking: from colours, shapes and numbers to making patterns, sorting by more than one attribute, reading a clock, and adding and subtracting two-digit numbers.
  • Skills and enrichment: early fine and gross motor stimulation, sensory discrimination and work on attention and memory, alongside Fine Arts, Physical Education, Technology and Music every week.

How We Teach

Educational Methodology

Lesson planning follows a set of working principles that keep the day active and hold each child’s attention.

See how lessons are planned
  • Structured systems: core concepts are taught through blended learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic and verbal), Game-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning (ABP) and differentiation.
  • Daily tactics: morning circle time, the phrase of the week, teacher conferencing, learning centres, and the I do, we do, you do framework.
  • Learning tools: a bilingual Book of the Week that travels home, journals, interactive notebooks and multisensory letter-formation tools.

Students gain the knowledge and skills to respect themselves, others, their community and the world around them. Lessons draw on a range of teaching methods, resources and technology, with activities that build values and cross-curricular themes: multicultural and environmental education, coexistence and community service.

Critical Thinking for the Real World

We empower Middle School students to take an active role in their global community. By developing advanced technology skills and real-world problem solving, they learn to apply what they know to everyday challenges with confidence. Dynamic, varied lessons keep coursework engaging and make knowledge actionable.
