Leadership
Meet the academic directors and coordinators steering the educational vision across our campuses.

Institutional Leadership
Mr. RyderPrincipal · Director, Campus Las Quintas
principal@oxfordreynosa.edu.mxAn experienced educational leader and strategist originally from Dunedin, New Zealand. He holds a degree in Political Studies from the University of Otago and serves as General Director of The Oxfordian School. With more than two decades of experience in leadership, human development and institutional strategy, he is recognised for building people-centred systems that drive sustainable educational growth.
A specialist in organisational change, he holds a certificate in School Change Management from Harvard Business School Online and a TESOL certification, combining academic leadership with international language education expertise. He has also completed professional formation in counselling, strengthening his work in supporting the social and emotional development of students, educators and school communities, and holds certifications in Montessori education and Positive Discipline, approaches that emphasise respect, autonomy and whole-child development.
Throughout his leadership at The Oxfordian School he has helped guide the institution’s growth from a single campus to five, serving thousands of students, supporting the creation of community libraries on each campus and championing a scholarship programme that now provides more than 37 million pesos in financial support each year — a reflection of his belief that talent and potential should never be limited by circumstance.
For Timothy, leadership is rooted in service, guided by the conviction that education, literacy and human development are among the most powerful ways to strengthen societies and create lasting impact.

Campus Directors
Ms. ContrerasAcademic Director, All Campuses · Academic Director, Campus Petrolera
academicprincipal@oxfordreynosa.edu.mxHer leadership was instrumental in developing her vocation for teaching, where she has spent over 10 years putting into practice the knowledge she gained through specialised courses.
A graduate of the Ibero-American University of Torreón, she updates her skills constantly with courses such as “Stages of Child Development”, “Resilience Workshop”, “Positive Discipline” and “Neuromotor Development”.
As Academic Director she also holds oversight of academic standards across the school. Given her innovative nature as an engineer, she has found The Oxfordian School the perfect place to stay at the forefront of technological areas she knows well, such as robotics and programming. Her fluency in English has earned her certification in all three modules of the TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test), and she has taken specialised Spanish language courses including “Text Analysis and Correction” and “Fundamental Principles of Writing and Style”.

Campus Directors
Ms. ArellanoDirector, Campus Vista Hermosa · Capital Humano
oaprincipal@oxfordreynosa.edu.mxAn educational leader, psychologist and published writer with a distinguished record in human development, teacher formation and school management. A licensed psychologist, she holds a Master’s in Education and a Master’s in Organisational Development, has begun doctoral studies in Education, and is currently completing further specialist studies in Human Resources.
With experience as a school director, a teacher of children, adolescents and adults, and a certified external training agent before the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, she has dedicated her career to strengthening educational communities through conscious leadership, emotional education and the integral formation of teachers. She holds two diplomas in Brief Psychotherapy, endorsed by Universidad Anáhuac and the Asociación Psicológica de Asesoría Española, and is SEP-accredited in the implementation of social-emotional skills.
Her specialisation in Early Stimulation, recognised by IMETYD, and in Escuela para Padres, accredited by the DIF, reflects her commitment to accompanying human development from its earliest stages and to active collaboration between family and school. As a trainer she has designed and delivered workshops on leadership, teacher coaching and soft skills — assertive communication, stress management, resilience, problem-solving and empathy — and she is a published poet, with work issued by the Lord Byron publishing house in Spain.
Convinced that educational leadership is born of service and social conscience, Ms. Arellano leads projects that strengthen emotional health, community and integral growth across the school.
