Alongside the numbered route, OLS runs specialised courses for younger children, for certification preparation and for conversation practice. Ask your campus which are running this intake.

OLS Kids · Ages 4 to 6

A specialised English course for preschool-age children, taught in its own group and at its own pace. Enrolment is monthly rather than by level.

Certification Preparation

Preparation for an internationally recognised English certification, for students who need a certified score for university admission or for work. It runs as its own course rather than as part of the six-level route.

Conversation Groups

Two conversation levels, meeting once a week, that sit alongside the numbered route for students who can already read and write English and want to speak it with confidence. Each topic follows the same route: students read an article on a current issue, write an opinion essay on it, present it to the group and then debate it together, with feedback on their writing, their presentation and their intonation. Through the year the groups also explore American and Tex-Mex culture around Halloween, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, the Fourth of July and Cinco de Mayo, and parents are welcome to take part.
