Community Collaboration

Collaboration

Three ways to take part in what the school does beyond the classroom: give to the Love Foundation, volunteer your time, or work with us on College Readiness.

Who We Are

The School’s Humanitarian Arm

Love Foundation is the community-service arm of The Oxfordian School, run through the Asociación PMA (Proyectos Mejorando con Amor) Oxford A.C. It builds humanitarian relationships between the school, its students, teachers and families and the communities around them — planning each project with a partner organisation, carrying it out with students at its centre, and closing it by reflecting with them on what the support meant and what was learned.

The work runs on three fronts at once: in the school, where scholarship families take part through the servicio social programme; with the students, for whom every campaign is a lived lesson in empathy and citizenship; and in the community, where projects are delivered through trusted organisations so that help arrives safely and where it is needed.

How to Donate

Giving in Kind

Donations are welcome all year round, guided by one principle: every article should be something you would gladly hand to a member of your own family.

What We Can Accept

New or used articles in good condition — clean, complete and ready to hand to a family without repair. Food must be sealed and within its use-by date, and personal hygiene products new and unopened. Anything broken, incomplete, expired or unclean cannot be passed on, and the foundation reviews every donation before it goes out.

Drop Off at Any Campus

Bring donations to the reception of any of the five campuses, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For larger donations, write first to lovefoundation@oxfordreynosa.edu.mx so a delivery can be arranged.

Your Details Stay Private

Donor information is handled under the school’s privacy notice and is never shared beyond the foundation.

Volunteering

Lend a Hand

Giving is not only money. Volunteering is the second way to take part, and for most of our programmes it is the one that makes the difference.

Volunteer with the Love Foundation

Food drives, collections and campus projects run through the year, and most of them need more hands than the school has. Write to the Foundation and they will place you where the need is greatest that month.

Provide for the Kermés

Stallholders, food providers and suppliers for the annual kermés are arranged by Mr. Cortez, our Communications Director, who oversees the event with the Admissions and Marketing teams.

Write to Mr. Cortez

Families, alumni, companies and neighbours are all welcome. Tell us how much time you can give and we will find something that fits it.

Where Your Donation Goes

The Programmes Your Giving Supports

These are some of the programmes running today — the list keeps growing as new needs are found. Since 2014 the school community has supported the Banco de Alimentos every year; in October 2025 alone, the Hambretón collected 11,077.458 kg against a 5-tonne target.

Salud en Movimiento

Health and movement campaigns across the campuses.

Mochilazo Solidario

School bags and supplies for children who would otherwise start the year without them.

Hambretón

The annual food collection for the Banco de Alimentos de Reynosa.

Juguetón

Toys gathered and given so that no child goes without one.

Abrigatón

Warm clothing collected for families through the coldest months.

Frutos que Transforman

Fresh produce shared with families in need.

Letters for Children

Letters written by our students to children who need to hear from someone.

Sends of Love

Care parcels sent to families and causes beyond our own community.

Regala una Sonrisa

Visits and gifts for the children of Casa Hogar.

Te Presto Mis Zapatos

Shoes collected and passed on to children who need them.

Stand for Migrants

Support for migrant families passing through Reynosa.

Learning to Love Pets

Teaching students to care for and protect animals.

University Guidance

University & College Readiness Counselling

The third way to collaborate is with the students themselves. College Readiness runs alongside Middle and High School, and it works best when universities and families are part of it.

Counselling for Students and Families

Ms. Sandoval leads the school’s College Readiness initiative, guiding students through subject choices, applications, entrance exams and scholarships. Getting into the right university is a sequence of smaller decisions taken over several years, and no student should have to navigate it alone.

Universities, Partners and Sponsors

Universities, exam boards and scholarship funds that would like to reach Oxfordian students — through a talk, a fair, a counselling session or a scholarship — are welcome to write to the same desk.
